The new Range Rover that is currently displayed on the Land Rover Menlyn showroom floor, boasts a status of Modern Luxury and the designers made sure to focus on elegance and simplicity in this new model.
This will also be the first Range Rover ever to come with a third row of seats, only available in the long wheelbase as an extra option, but comfortably seats an adult in the third row without compromising any of the space in the second row.

The front interior in the new Range Rover is just breathtakingly beautiful. It has illumination, wood trim in the doors and leather everywhere; but it doesn’t have to be, as Land Rover is offering the new Range Rover with a non-leather interior option for people who want to go vegan with their car.
The headrests move to contour perfectly with your head for additional comfort and they have a built-in speaker that is designed to cancel out ambient noise, only available with Meridian Signature Sound System, with active noise cancellation.
The door handles are flush against the body of the car when locked, and it is pointed out by Land Rover that the motor that controls the movement of the handles is one of the strongest in the motor manufacturing industry to ensure easy access even in severe weather conditions where ice or snow can form around the handles. You will also notice no weather stripping where the windows meet the door.
The lower side panels are painted black for all the new Range Rover models, regardless of the vehicle colour option and this is to add a little bit of visual lift to make the car look taller and more intimidating.
Moving to the interior of the vehicle, the seat memory buttons are integrated into the seat control buttons. Instead of adding more buttons, they are utilizing the already existing buttons, again focusing on minimalism and simplicity. The rear window switch allows the passenger to control both rear windows from one window switch. The button above the window switch illuminates when pressed to indicate which window is controlled. When both lights are illuminated, both rear windows can be rolled up or down at the same time.
The rear of the vehicle is where you can definitely see more of the simplistic, elegant design intention, so much so that it almost looks like there are no lights at all. Hidden in the vertical dark strips are the brightest LED lights in the entire car industry, to push through the black covering over the lights.
The reverse lights are also hidden in the bumper, integrated with some reflectors as not to disturb the simplistic rear end. The rear wiper is hidden from view underneath the spoiler, so when it is off, you can’t even tell that it is there at all.
The rear of the vehicle also offers a tailgate seat. Just under the boot is an additional flap that opens up to create seating space. There is also a panel in the boot floorboard that can be lifted up to create a backrest for added comfort. This same panel can be lifted in the opposite direction to serve as a division in the boot area, or to hold down some cargo that you wouldn’t want to roll around.
Lighted seatbelt buckles not only add to that elegant touch to the new Range Rover, but also make it easier to find when driving at night. There are ample charging ports to use. They start from the rear of the center console underneath the climate control buttons and continue in the rear center armrest, so you will never be without a charging option. It also has an HDMI port that connects to the rear seat entertainment screens.
